What is the most important lesson that Sal learns at the end of Walk Two Moons? In 5-8 sentences discuss and describe the most important lesson that she learns that has made her a different person than she was at the beginning of the novel. Use examples from the text to show that she learned a lesson.

I think that the most important lesson that Sal learns by the end of the novel is “It’s not your fault if someone dies”. I choose this lesson because when Sal’s mom was pregnant Sal had hurt her leg and her mom carried Sal inside and when Sal found out that the baby died she thought a little that it might be her fault. And when her mother died Sal needs to know that it wasn’t her fault her mom died. And when gooseberry/gram died Sal needs to really and truly know that it wasn’t her fault. And another reason that “It’s not your fault if someone dies” is a good lesson for Sal to learn is that if one day one of her friends die she will know that she didn’t do anything for them to die.
ReplyDeleteI personally think that the most important lesson that Sal learns in the end of the novel would have to be that you must stop obsessing, but not necessarily forget about and leave behind, the dead or gone because they had had their own fate and destiny that you could not change. One example would have to be when Sal’s mother left Bybanks, Kentucky and went to Lewiston, Idaho and Sal thought it was because of her and the death of a baby. The baby’s death, Sal thought, was because her mom had given birth her first, and Sal’s mom would act strangely as if the baby were still alive. A second example is that when any character in the novel would hold on to the dead or gone, they would later on have emotional issues in figuring out how to cope with their emotions which can cause large health and mental or psychological damage. A third example of why you should stop at least obsessing over dead or gone loved ones that is directly from the novel is that, as recently mentioned, Sal’s mom had a motherly instinct to pretend the baby was still alive and would say, when Sal’s father came back into his wife’s (Sal’s mother’s) room from talking to Sal and the doctor about the baby that died as or before it was delivered into the world, things like “I’ll hold the baby,” and “The baby can’t be dead, it was alive just a minute ago,” which were not the most normal, or even sane thing to say. Thus, I finish reasoning about why the most important lesson, in my opinion, for Sal to have learned in the novel would have had to have been that you can let them live on in your heart, but stop obsessing while not forgetting and leaving behind the dead or gone, because they probably left for their own reason, as part of their fate and destiny, or just if they wanted to see a new place or meet new people while if they did die, it was their time to watch over their loved ones while being unable to be hurt or damaged, and being able to partially protect them from some of the evils of the world.
ReplyDeleteIn the book Walk Two Moons the important lesson that Sal learns at the end of the book is, you can’t judge a person until you get to kn0w them. An a example is when Phoebe judges Mrs. Cadaver, she thought that she chopped Mr. Cadaver up in the backyard. Another example is when Sal judged grams and gramps get in trouble a lot. Another example is when Sal don’t like Margret because she don’t want her to marry her dad. Another example is when Sal judged the houses in Ohio how they were so jammed up and there is a little piece of grass in the front of the houses

ReplyDeleteAfter reading Walk Two Moon’s Chp.44 Sal learns to deal with stuff that life throws at her. Sal has to get over stuff like deep sadness. Sal has to learn to be happy without her Mom. Sal also had to get over Grams death.
Sal also had to learn how to deal with phoebe when her mom left Phoebe was acting like a jerk so that is why Sal had to deal with Phoebe.
Sal really! Had to deal with Ben kissing her in weird places like in her collar bone. Sal also learned to quit judging people like Ms.Cadaver Sal always always said she was a murderer.
Sal also thought Mike was the potential lunatic but it was actually Ms.Partridge.
Sal also thought Ms.Winterbottom was cheating on Mr.Winterbottom because she kissed her adopted son and Sal thought it was her boyfriend.
Sal also judge people at the cash register because they where staring at Sal and Phoebe so Sal said they were the lunatic.
The most important lesson Sal learns at the end of the novel is that you need to let go of the bad memories to let in the good memories. The first good memory is when Gramps let Sal drive his pickup truck on Gramps old farm and gave Sal driving lessons of how to drive. The second good memory is when Ben gave Sal a chicken named Blackberry. The third good memory is when the singing tree was singing because it reminds Sal of when she was at home where she would think too. The first bad memory is when Sal’s mom who is Mrs. Winterbottom died. The second bad memory is when Grams died. The third bad memory is when Sal’s mother’s baby died a couple minutes after the baby was born.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading Walk Two Moons the most important lesson that sal learns by the end of the novel was "Dont judge a man untill youve walked two moons in theire mockisons".
ReplyDeleteAn example from the text is when, sal was judgeing Mike (the lunitick). But he turned out to be her best friend phoebe's brother.
And she learned that Mrs.Cadaver wasnt a murderer like she thought, and that she new sal's mother befor she passed when the bus went off of the mountain.
After reading walk two moons, Chapter 41-44. I discovered that the most important lesson that Sal learns is that “those who die are always with you”. Here I have three examples: “He was right about one thing though, we did not need to bring her back because she is in the trees, the barn, the field”. “He needs to walk out that aspen grove to see his gooseberry”. And “Her husband died when a drunk driver rammed into your car”.
ReplyDeleteThe important lesson that Sal learned at the end of Walk Two Moons book is that you should never judge someone because of the way they look or dress. Sal realized that you have to get to know what the person is really like. When Sal was at Mrs. And Mr. Winterbottom’s. house and a young boy rung the doorbell and phoebe answered and the young boy looked nervous and scared. Phoebe looked suspicious and said to Sal what if he’s “lunatic”. Phoebe did not get to know him and see who he really was. Sal learned on the way while she watched Phoebe judge people that you shouldn’t judge a person until you get to know them and who they are. That’s the lesson Sal learned
ReplyDeleteIn the story Walk Two Moons I think the most important part of the story was “you cage a person you have to let them go” because Sal and Phoebe keep losing the ones they love. They can’t except that they are the ones they love. Phoebe is teaching Sal a lesson and she doesn’t even know it she is teaching Sal that you don’t have to fight to get the loved ones that have gone back. Sal tries to get Phoebe to understand that she needs to let her mother go and get some time to herself. When Sal goes with Phoebe to find her “kidnapped” mother Sal tries to help Phoebe understand that her mother loves her and that she would not go if she did not love her.
ReplyDeleteIn Walk Two Moons Phoebe tries to find her “kidnapped” mother but Sal on the other hand is still getting over her own mother.
In Walk Two Moons Phoebe gets mad at Ben because she wants her mother back. When Phoebe gets mad at Ben she tells Ben mean things and Ben just does not know what to do.
In Walk Two Moons Phoebe goes to talk to the cops about her “kidnapped” mother but Sal tries to convince Phoebe that her mother is not “kidnapped” but Phoebe does not listen.
The most important lesson Sal learns in Walk Two Moons is Don’t Judge people. Phoebe and Sal saw a man (Mike the “lunatic”) and Mike asks for Phoebe’s mom and that’s when Phoebe assumed he was a “lunatic”. So when they police station and the officer went out to get Phoebe’s dad and while he was gone Sal saw the “lunatic” picture and the officer was in it also. So Sal told Phoebe and then Phoebe told Sal the plan so Sal disguises her voice when they call the house of the Bickles (the last name of the Officer and Mike the so called lunatic). She asked for Mike Bickle and the mom picked up and said he was not there. So then Mrs. Winterbottom came in WITH the lunatic and she said “Hello family this is my son Mike”.
ReplyDeleteI think the most important lesson that Sal learned was you have to let out the bad memories to let the good ones in. Most of the examples are when she kept on trying remember why her mother left and if she was dead or alive or trying to see if she was ever going to come home. But everybody kept on telling her to not worry about it. But she had to see for herself. So she took her grandfather’s car and made the rest of the way to Idaho the day of her mother’s birthday. But sadly she found out her mother had
ReplyDeletedied in a bus crash. Laying there on her grave but knowing her mother wasn’t really gone
she was still in her heart.
The most important lesson that Sal learned by the end of the novel is you cant judge a person until you get to know them . Is when Sal thinks Mr. Birkway is crazy for jumping when he was looking at the journals . Sal thinks Ben is weird for kissing her in the collarbone when they were getting off the bed in Mary Lou Finney house . Sal thinks Margaret is a murders because she wonder were Mr. cadaver was so she thought Margaret killed him . Sal thinks the lunatic might hurt her and phoebe with a gun or a knife but at the end he is Mrs. Winterbottom son .

ReplyDeleteIn the book walk two moons the most important lesson at the end of the story is if you love someone you got to let it go.Like sal knew her mom was gone but she wanted to see for her self.Just like phoebe did when her mom when she left.Sal’s mom was extremely sad when her new born baby died that’s probably left.Sal was sad to.Sal wanted to get to Lewiston Idaho on her moms birthday.Sal stoped at many different places with her grandparents gram and gramps. They went to yellow stone to see the bad lands and ol faithfull and stoped at blackfoot they smoked a pipe.Gramps got a pipe from the gift shop. They stoped at a river gram got bite by a snake and was taken to the hospital.Gram died later on of a stroke in Idaho.Sal went back to her home town in bybanks Kentucky
I think that the most important lesson that Sal learns by the end of the novel is you can't judge a person until you get to know them. And the reason that I think that is the most important lesson is because in the book Walk Two Moons that lesson keeps popping up in the book. And because at first Sal judged Ms. Cadaver and so did Phoebe but it turns out Ms. Cadaver is really nice and she did not kill her husband he died on the bus and Margret held Sal's moms hand while she took her last breath. And Sal pretty much turned into Phoebe. And that’s what I think the most important lesson is.
ReplyDeleteThe most important lesson that Sal learns at the end of the novel is, you can’t judge a person until you really get to know them. Like when Sal judged the boy who came to phoebe’s door, after he left Sal kept on saying that he was a lunatic but at the end of the novel he turned out to be phoebes brother and a really nice person .Also Sal and phoebe judged Mrs. Cadaver they said that she chopped up her husband and buried him in the backyard, but at the end she turned out to be a really nice person and, a friend of her mom’s .Also Sal judged Mr. Birkway she thought that he was crazy for jumping in the class room when he was collecting the journals and at the end he turned out to be Mrs. Cadaver twin brother and a nice teacher.
ReplyDeleteI think the most important lesson was you can not judge someone until you get to know them you will not respect them with the respect that they want and need.
ReplyDeleteI learned about the massage ‘In the course of a lifetime’ to me, this means not to worry so much about things that matter.
I learned about that friends and family are important because they could be gone quickly. I have learned there is no place like home. I have learned that its ok to be sad at times.
I think the lesson that Sal learned was “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. “ Don’t judge a book by it’s cover” means don’t judge someone by their appearance .Sal first learned this when she looked at Phoebe’s mom and thought she was a stiff ,working woman but she is really a free stylish woman . Then there a boy at the stream ,Tom Fleet, at first she thought he was a stealing boy but he turned out to be a nice boy who helped them when they were in need . The last example I have is Sal sees her dad and Margret together and thought her dad was dating Margret and thought her dad was forgetting her mom but Margret was sitting by her mom in the bus her mom died in and she was the only one still alive on the bus .
ReplyDeleteSal learned in the end of the novel, that there is more good than bad in the world because she read about Pandora that had all these kind of gifts and one special she could not open but Pandora did ant way and the box had all the bad in the world in it and at the very bottom was hope, but Sal found out all through the story she learned that the story was not and there is more good in the world then.
ReplyDeleteSal also learned when gram and mom died Sal thought it would be all bad but Sal realizes that there is more good like getting to go back to by bank and her swimming hole and the blackberry kisses and the farm, chickens, cows and so on and Sal wondered if there was a story behind the fireplace and Sal was good to be home and gram was bared where gramps and gram were married and mom was living in there hearts.
Sal also learned that the singing tree was also good because every time something good would happen the tree would sing and one example was when gram got out of the hospital the tree sang and when Sal and her dad and gramps returned to by banks the tree sang when Sal went up to watch the tree.
What is the most important lesson that Sal learns at the end of Walk Two Moons Sal learns that you always keep love ones in your heart because Sal keeps her sitter in her heart it was Sal’s first sibling and Sal mom wanted a house full of kids and Sal wanted a sitter. And she keeps her mom in her heart cause Sal did not see her mom for the last time because the bus flipped over and Margaret was the last one to spend the last moments with her mom and the last person. Sal keeps gram in her heart because I thank why Sal keeps gram in her heart is when they were on the trip gramps said gram looks gray and gram had a stroke after that and when gram was in the hospital Sal whispered something in grams ear gram could not hear her. Sal went to see her mom for her birthday but her mom was dead and gram was too and Sal got to do what she wanted to do along with gram and gramps.
ReplyDeleteIn the book walk two moons the most important lesson at the end of the story is if you love you got to set it free because Sal knew her mom was gone and she still went on a wild quest sale has got to know if you love some one you got to set it free you can’t just hold it for the rest of your she got to think of the positive not the negative knows that her mom loves her deeply but she got to know it wasn’t anybody fault it was just her time to go to haven but phoebes mom left It was just crazy phoebe thought about calling the cops then her mom came reason she left cause she went to go see her son and she thought her husband didn’t accept her for who she was she acted like she was respectful truthful but she got to speak what'sin he heart speak what’s in your mind don’t let it stay in and think of an excuse why she left the truth is better than anything in the world phoebe lied to the kids in class and said my mom is in London phoebe lied caused her mom wasn’t in London her mom was with her son mike the whole time but she could have said my mom is off somewhere instead of saying that she told a lie if you keep that lie it will get bigger and bigger till u just have to tell the truth.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading Walk Two Moons the most important lesson Sal learns is don't judge a man until you walk two moons in his moccassins Sal judged Mike AKA(the lunitic)and it turns out Mike was Phoebe's brother.
ReplyDeleteI think that Sal learn don’t judge people until you get to know them. The reason I think that is because if you do it’s like saying you’ve known them for a long time. Sal judged mike of killing phoebes mom. She judged Mrs. Cadaver of being a murderer. The reason she learnt that is because mike turns out to be part of phoebes family .Mrs. cadaver was actually Mr. Dirk ways mom .she judged Ben of being nasty by kissing her but she changed her mind about him and kissed him on the lips. That’s why I think that that’s what she learnt.
ReplyDeleteThe most important lesson Sal leans that you can’t judge a person until you get to know them like when Sal met Margaret she thought she killed her husband and buried him in her back yard . or when she met the boy on the beach that helped her grams with
ReplyDeletethe snake bite. Or when she met the lunatic she did no go crazy like Phoebe she had a feeling like she know him but she did not . but at the end she know who the lunatic was he was Phoebe brother and she found out why her mother did not come back because she was in a bus crash but in the story she is still jealousy because Phoebe mother came back and mine did not.
Sal has learned that her mom has died and she only has memories. She has her mom’s post cards under her flooring. Thinking of the singing trees makes Sal feel happy. And her Grams has died from a stroke. So the lesson of the story is. You always keep loved ones in your heart.
ReplyDeleteThe most important lesson that Sal learns in Walk Two Moons is to not judge people by the way they look and if you don’t know them so that doesn’t mean their a lunatic, just like how Mike went up to went up to phoebe’s door and asked for phoebe’s mom that doesn’t mean he’s a lunatic.
ReplyDelete1. when Mike went up to Phoebe’s door so she said he was the lunatic.
2. Phoebe and Sal saw Mike standing on the sidewalk so they just stared running because they thought he was the lunatic.
3. Phoebe and Sal were judging Mr.Bickle because they just found out that Mr.birkway and Mrs.Cadaver are twins.
I think that some of most important lesson that Sal from Walk two Moons learned is just because a person is not in front of you physically there still in your heart like how Grams will be in Sal’s and Gramps , hearts for ever also Sal’s mom will be in Sal’s and Sal’s Dad’s heart for ever to. You can’t keep a person locked to your arm to forever you have to let them go for example when Sal’s mom left, Sal wanted her to stay there with her but she had to let her go even though she did not want to. Also I think that Sal learned that there are some bad things in the world like her mom died and Grams dieing and the still born baby. Yet there are some good things in the world to like Phebe and her mom coming back and Sal and Ben kissing and all of Sal’s friends. So even though there’s bad stuff in the world there’s always going to good thing’s in the world.
ReplyDeleteSal’s lesson was about death. Her mom was dead .She wanted to go her mom graveside. Sal her grandmother in the hospital and she passed away. Mrs. Cadaver have to stay with Sal’s mom until she died. Sal’s was sad. Sal’s could remember her mom at home. She would think of blackberry kisses and the singing tree.
ReplyDeleteThe most important lesson Sal learned was not to judge others. Sal believed that Mrs. Cadaver killed her husband and buried him in her yard. Later Sal said to Phoebe at Mr. Birkway is jumping over the place she though he was crazy. When Sal went to Phoebe`s house and Mr. Birway was sitting down on the couch and he said, me and Mrs. Cadaver are twins and I’m sorry to read your journal out loud to the class. She decided to not judge other.
ReplyDeleteI THINK THE MOST IMPORTING LESSON SAL LEAREND IS that’s not her fault that if someone dies . Because when sal fall of the tree and broke her ankle and mom went to left her up her baby had die and sal by though it was her fault .BUT her dad said sale its not her fault . ITS ok her dad said AND ITS not your fault you broke your ankle and its not her dad said AND ITS not your fault you broke your ankle and its not your fault your mom baby died And when she got to Idaho she had saw A bus that her mom was in it was flip down the hill and her mom died and the sheriff said we only saw one hand and we were happy to somebody alive and the hand was Mrs. cadaver and your mom was sitting next to her when they went back to the hospital and gram died and they had shipped gram to were they left from so after that sal moved on with her life.
ReplyDeleteI think Sal needs
to understand this important fraise “ There is more good in the world than bad. The reason for this fraise is that Sal needs to believe that things happen for a reason, and that even if thing happen it will not be your fault. So Sal needs to understand
That it is not her fault that her mom died in the bus crash. So when gram’s died
By the snake bit, it happen for a reason. Also when the rabbit died, actually I do not know if that happened for a reason. But, when mom died that really happened for a reason. So that’s what I think Sal needs to understand. But if that’s not enough
comment me and let me know.
After reading Walk Two Moon’s I thank that the most important lesson that Sal learn was that you can’t keep someone you love in the world but you can keep that love person in your heart. I would like to give you three examples from the book. Here is the first example from the book. Here is one example from the book is that when Sal mom whet away she rode the bus. The bus had cratered and Sal mom did not make it back home. The only person that shrived was Mrs. Cadaver. Also Sal was jealous that Phoebe’s mom came back and her mom did not. Here is the second example from the book is that she walked in her mom’s moccasins to feel the way she felled. Now the last example from the book is that Sal said that when she hears the singing tree that she will always remember her mom.
ReplyDeleteHope you liked my blog.
I think the lesson Sal learned after reading Walk Two Moons was. Just because someone that was close to you died that does not mean the are completely gone. They are still in your heart. Like Sal would have never known her mother was gone she would have thought she was alive until she went to Idaho. Because she saw her mothers grave. You can not cage a person they have there own chooses and there own mind . And that is I learned from Walk Two Moons.
ReplyDeleteLesson is that you can’t judge a person until you get to know them. Like when Phoebe says Mike is a lunatic but he was a nice guy and that he is a part of her family. And when Phoebe said Mrs. Cadaver cut up her husband but finds out that Mrs. Cadaver is a really nice person .And it is like when Sal grams, gramps saw that boy with a long bowie knife trying to take money and Sal thought the boy was a bad person but when gram gets bit by a snake the boy cuts grams leg and he started sucking and spitting the poisonous blood out of Gram’s leg. And they thought the boy was a lunatic but he wasn’t a lunatic like they thought. And that’s why you can’t judge a person until you get to know them.
ReplyDeleteThe most important lesson is that Sal learned about was loss. Sal loss her mom and her mom lost the baby. And they were sad. Sal loss her grams. She learned life is hard. But she knows that her mom is in the fields and the trees and the barn of the farm.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteThe most important lesson that Sal learned. Is don’t always judge someone when you look at them. Get to know them then start to say something that you don’t like about them . For example Sal said that Mr.Birkway jumps a lot .
Idaho houses are to small Sal said. Phoebe thinks the message boy is a lunatic. Phoebe thinks Mrs .cadaver is a murderer .Phoebe thinks that because she’s wondering where Mr. Cadaver is.
I think the most important lesson Sal learned you can’t cage a person all there life you got to let them go because you can’t keep them in your life you got to let them start there own life and also she didn’t under stand what gramps told Sal you cant cage a person all there life you got to let them go she didn’t under stand at first but when her mom left she under stand. You always keep loved ones in your heart because you don’t got to have them strait in front of you to have them in your heart or life. It’s not your fault if someone dies because you thank it’s your fault but it’s not people dies on there own.
ReplyDeleteI think the important lesson is it’s not your fault if someone passes away. Sal thinks it’s her fault the baby died because her mom had to pick her up because Sal had broke her ankle by falling out of a tree. People die for a reason it’s not because of you it just happens in life. “It seems to me that we can’t explain all the truly awful things in the world like war and murder and brain tumors, we can’t fix these things that happens in life and all the frightening things that are closer to us and we magnify them until they burst open.” (page 153)
ReplyDeleteThe most important lesson that Sal learns at the end of Walk Two Moons is , that you can’t judge a person until you get to know them. For an example Sal and Phoebe thought Mack was a lunatic. Phoebe thought he was a lunatic because he asked if Mrs. Winterbottom was home. And later in the story Sal started to believe Phoebe’s theory on Mack being a lunatic. But when Mrs. Winterbottom came home with Mack they find out that Mack is really Mrs. Winterbottom’s son. Then later they realized he’s not bad guy after all. Another example was when Sal judged Mrs. Cadaver. Sal judged her because Sal thought her father was getting to close to Mrs. Cadaver, and that they going to get married. But when Sal finds out her mother had died in a bus accident and Mrs. Cadaver sat beside her Sal figured out that the reason why her father spends time with Mrs. Cadaver. It’s because Mrs. Cadaver new a lot about Sal’s mother.
ReplyDeleteIn the story Walk Two Moons, The most important thing that Sal learned is “There is more good in the world than bad”. It mean’s there is more good thing’s and people than bad thing’s and people.
ReplyDeleteSal didn’t like the lunatic and Phoebe didn’t either. They thought he kidnapped Phoebe’s mom, when Mrs.Winterbottom came home she told them that he was her son.
The most important lesson Sal learns is you can not judge a person until you get to know them. 1st example is Sal & Mike. Mike is Mrs .Winterbottom only son & Mrs. Wintterbottom kisses her son at collage. Phoebe & Sal is like ‘ Mike is your son ,which me (Sal) & Phoebe thought he was a lunatic. In the end Mr. Wintetrbottom says ‘Mike, you are part of the family & Sal you, too.’ 2end example is Sal & her class. When Sal’s teacher reads her journal her classmates says’ you kiss trees. But to remind me of my mom.’says Sal. 3erd example is Sal & Ben. Sal thinks Ben is weird for kissing him in wrong places
ReplyDeleteAfter reading walk two moons the most importing is you cant juge a person tell you get to know them. First Phoebe juged mike . And another reason is phoebe thought , That a
ReplyDeleteLunatic came and kidnapped her mother because her mother was gone for a couple of
Days . And then phoebe juges Mrs.Cadaver because she thought that she chopped up
Mr.Cadaver in her backyard. And the last example is that Sal juges Gran and Gramps
And that’s how they get in a lot of trouble.
The lesson Sal learned by the end of the novel is don’t judge a man until you’ve walked two moons in his moccasins. And that means don’t judge a person until you’ve met them. And the person she judged is Margaret, because she said she had a voice that sounded like deceased leaves blowing in the wind, and she said her red hair looked spooky, and she said her name means dead body and she said she wouldn’t want a nurse whose name means dead body.
ReplyDeleteThe most import lesson in the book is don’t Jude people until you met them. Phoebe for example is she thinks Mrs. Cadaver coped up her husband Mr. Cadaver. Then Phoebe found out Mr. Cadaver got killed in a car wreck. And Sal judge Mrs. Cadaver to fast about Mrs. Cadaver dating her dad, but she found out Mrs. Cadaver know her mom so her dad wanted to talk to Mrs. Cadaver about mom. Phoebe and Sal judge Mike to fast they called him a lunatic but he was Phoebe and Prudence’s brother and Mr. Winterbottom’s son. Mr. Winterbottom judge Mike to fast and got Mrs. Winterbottom mad and sad.
ReplyDeleteThe most important lesson that Sal at the end of the novel is... you have to let go of the bad memories and let bring good memories. Sal had to forget the bad memories and bring the good memories . sal had to keep up her courage when her mom die from the accident . And Gram had die from a snake bite. And when the baby die but they got to worried a little Gramp and sal have to keep up there courage.
ReplyDeleteThe most important lesson that Sal and Phoebe learned is you can’t judge a person until you know them. Phoebe judges Mrs. Cadaver name to dead body. And here hair to sting out red hair is spooky. And her voice it reminds Phoebe of dead leaves all blowing on the ground. And Phoebe thinks Mrs.. Cadaver was using the axe murders.
ReplyDeletePhoebe also judged a boy as a lunatic. Sal says the lunatic was wearing a black T shirt and blue jeans, and his hands were stuffed into his pockets. She also says he seemed nervous. Then she says mother hates it when strangers come to the door. Then she says Phoebe Mrs. and her looked out the window and saw a Youngman who looked about seventeen or eighteen ,although I am not as good at guessing people s ages as blind Mrs. Partridge is.
Phoebe also judges the Finney’s and at dinner all she talks about is cholesterol and how it is important. When they have fried chicken for dinner. Phoebe says this CHICKEN FRIED I cant eat fried foods. I have a sensitive stomach. She glanced at the three pieces of chicken on Ben’s plate. You real shouldn’t eat that ,Ben fried foods are not good for you. First of all ,there ,s the cholesterol. Phoebe removed two pieces of chicken from Benes plate and put them back on the serving platter. Mr. Finney coughed. Mrs. Finney said; your not going to eat the chicken then , Phoebe smiled ; NO , mrs. Finney , I cant couldent possibly. Actually ,mr. Finney should not be eating it either.
I think the most important lesson that Sal learned I,T not your fault if someone dies. I think that Sal mom left because she lost the baby . When Sal was driving to IDAHO and saw a bus fell over and Sal mom died. And Gram died from a stroke. And the only survived was Mrs.Cadaver. Ex: Sal think that she kill the baby from falling of the tree. Ex: Phoebe think that her mom was kidnapped. Ex: Gram got bit by a snake and got a stroke.
ReplyDeleteChapter 41
ReplyDeleteDon’t judge a man until you walked two moon in his moccasin. Sal judges some people before looking at her life. So there for she doesn’t know how their life really is. Sal was not paying attention. Sal had courage riding a car. Sal needs some courage. Sal did not now that she was dead
The most important lesson that Sal learned not to judge someone show she knows ad don’t judge someone she don’t know. Sal judged Phoebe. She thought she was strange for worrying about cholesterol. Sal also judged Mr. Birkway. She think he is crazy for jumping and down. Sal thinks Ben is weird because he has bee kissing her I different places, like the cheek. Sal needs to get to know people before she judges them.
ReplyDeleteI think the lesson that sal learns is if you keep the memories
ReplyDeleteOf the people you love and care for they will be there for you .
A memory that sal has is the post cards from her mom. Sal
Sings a song that her mom sang. She has a memory of
Seeing her moms grave in Idaho.
The lesson sal learns is make memories and keep them close.
The most important lesson Sal learns is. Not to judge someone until you get to know them. Like Mrs. Cadaver Sal thought Mrs. Cadaver was a murder but in the in the end she was not. Another example is. The lunatic that went to phoebes house. But in the end he was phoebes brother half brother. Another thing is Ben. Sal thought Ben was nasty and gross for kissing Sal in wrong places. But at the end Sal did kiss Ben on the lips.
ReplyDeleteI think the most important lesson she learned is that you can’t “cage a person you have to let them go and it’s not your fault if someone dies. You can have them in your hart, but you can’t keep them from doing what they want to do, they have to be free. Just like in book when Sal’s mother died, she thought it was her fault. When Sal’s mother was pregnant Sal fell out a tree and broke her leg and her mother carried her all the way back home. A few days later her mom disappeared and Sal got very worried about her. Then another thing happened Grams had got bitten by a snake and this man named Tom Fleet came to them with a knife they were frightened. Then Grams was in the water and she was holding a poisonous snake. Then snake bit her, she was bleeding a lot so Tom tried to suck the poison put of her leg while they were rushing to the hospital.
